Due to an internal promotion, this NASDAQ listed, global Ecommerce platform are looking for a new Sales Development Representative to join the team. Reporting to the Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying opportunities with a variety of retail, fashion and apparel brands.

What you'll be doing

  • Kickstarting the sales cycle - data entry, data cleansing, account targeting etc
  • Researching and identifying brands for prospecting
  • Cold and warm outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, events etc
  • Analysing potential customers' existing tech-stack
  • Pipeline generation
  • Booking in demos
  • Updating and maintaining CRM records
  • Working closely with the wider Sales team internally as well as others in the business

What you'll need to get the job

  • Minimum one year's experience in a similar Sales Development/ Business Development role at a junior level, within a tech focused business (eg eCommerce, SaaS, Martech or Fintech)
  • Proven experience in successfully prospecting potential accounts and building a sales pipeline
  • Ability to engage with business and department leaders, and senior stakeholders
  • You will have a data-driven approach to your outreach and an ability to target the right brands that fit the business and what they offer
  • Experience using and updating CRM and associated records (eg Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Hubspot or similar)
  • Must have a 'hunter' mentality and be hungry to sell/ open doors
  • Must be comfortable cold-calling
  • A positive, 'can-do' attitude
  • A genuine desire to further your sales career in the SaaS/ eCommerce space

Salary: $80-90k + super + bonus/ comms

PLEASE NOTE: This role is only open to those with full working-rights in Australia and will be required in a great Melbourne CBD office three days per week.
