The Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) is seeking an Industry Capability Coordinator to join our team in South Bank, Brisbane on a 13-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of Queensland’s tourism industry by coordinating innovative capability-building programs, with a strong focus on the development and delivery of AI-focused digital microcredential courses through the Pathways to Industry Excellence program.

Reporting to the Industry Capability Manager, and working with industry experts, tourism operators, regional tourism organisations and government stakeholders, you will play a key role in supporting workforce capability, driving industry participation, and delivering high-quality learning experiences.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive professional with strong stakeholder engagement, project coordination and communication skills. Experience in program delivery, digital learning platforms, training administration or tourism industry initiatives will be highly regarded.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about tourism, industry development, digital innovation and creating meaningful impact across Queensland’s visitor economy.
