Senior Client Support Team Member
Scope Psychology Services Australia
Advance Your Career: Client Support to Senior Team Member (Fast-Track)
This is not a reception role. It is not an admin assistant role. It is a launchpad.
We’re looking for highly committed, switched-on and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Client Support team member and grow with Scope Psychology — Brisbane’s leading neurodevelopmental psychology practice. You’ll start under the wing of our Clinic Coordinator, learning the ropes, with a clear and structured development pathway to progress to a senior team member by early to mid 2027 (based on hitting all core performance competencies).
If you’re looking for ‘just a job’ to fill the hours, this role is not for you. But if you’re a driven A-player looking for a long-term home where your initiative, loyalty, and reliability are genuinely seen and rewarded with genuine career progression, we’d love to hear from you.
About Scope Psychology Services
- A well-established group psychology practice focusing on neurodevelopmental conditions, based in Norman Park, Brisbane.
- Our team takes both clinical excellence and operational quality seriously — and we have a lot of fun while we do it.
- We live by our core values: Understanding, Adaptable, High Achievers, and Reliable.
- We run a lean, mostly paperless, tech-forward operation — and we love a good system.
Your Growth Pathway
We’ve built a clear, three-phase competency framework so you always know where you are, what you’re working towards, and what genuine progression looks like. You’ll grow at the pace your performance earns — not by ticking time-served boxes.
Phase 1 — Finding Your Feet
This is where you settle in and become a confident, capable part of the team. You’ll learn our systems, master the daily rhythm of clinic life, and start building warm, professional relationships with our clients and practitioners.
- Welcoming clients, answering enquiries, and creating a calm, friendly clinic atmosphere
- Handling bookings, payments, and day-to-day admin with care and accuracy
- Getting comfortable with our practice management software, communication tools, and team systems
- Supporting our practitioners so they can focus on the work they do best
Phase 2 — Hitting Your Stride
Once you’ve nailed the foundations, you’ll take on more complex work and start owning parts of the client experience independently. This is where the role really starts to open up.
- Guiding new clients through their first contact with Scope — calls, enquiries, intake, and onboarding
- Managing more involved bookings, payments, and rebilling situations with confidence
- Supporting our NDIS clients and starting to understand the funding landscape
- Spotting gaps in our systems and offering ideas to make things better
Phase 3 — Senior Team Member
This is the destination — a trusted, senior contributor to the heart of how Scope runs. You’ll be a go-to person for the team, a mentor to newer members, and an active voice in how we keep growing.
- Handling our more complex financial, NDIS, and client situations with skill and sensitivity
- Mentoring newer team members and supporting their development
- Helping refine our processes and contributing to Scope’s next chapter
- Eligible for increased hours (up to 4–5 days) and hybrid flexibility from early 2027, performance-based
Who We’re Looking For
- A natural people person — warm, professional, and genuinely good with humans
- Highly organised and detail-focused; you take pride in getting things right
- Switched on and proactive — you notice what needs doing and do it
- Curious and open — excited (not threatened) by AI, automation, and new tools
- Resilient and adaptable — our environment is dynamic, and you roll with it
- Ready to commit to a minimum of 24-36 months — we invest heavily in our people and look for that to be reciprocated
- Minimum one year of administration experience, ideally within a medical or allied health setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High computer literacy and genuine openness to learning new software
What We Offer You
- A structured progression framework with clear milestones — not vague promises
- Hours: 2 days/week to start, growing to up to 4–5 days in early to mid 2027 (performance-based)
- Hybrid flexibility once established (one day per fortnight)
- In-house professional development tailored to your strengths and interests
- Staff wellbeing perks, including team events and a paid day off for your birthday
- A positive, friendly, supportive, and neurodiversity-affirming workplace with a genuine team culture
How to Apply (Attention to Detail is Key)
- Applications close Monday 22 June 2026. We’re ready to move quickly for the right person.
- Please submit your resume and a cover letter to Jade Davis, CRO, at ***email_hidden***.
Your cover letter MUST include the following
- The word “excellence” in your opening paragraph
- A brief paragraph describing a specific time you used innovation to improve a process or solve a problem in a previous role
- Your ongoing availability and why you’d be a great fit for Scope
(Applications missing these specific requirements will not be reviewed.)
