About The Role
The position requires you to be a key driver of Council's strategic planning, risk, governance and reporting frameworks and a crucial part of our commitment to transparency, public accountability, sound governance and robust decision-making. This role guides, influences and supports Council's workforce to develop and implement well-governed plans, strategies and performance reporting mechanisms. You will also delivery clear and effective internal and external communications relating to Council's organisational performance, governance practices and risk profile.

About You
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in business, governance, risk, corporate planning or similar, and/or minimum 5 years relevant work experience. Ideally you will have strong relationship management skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to influence stakeholders. Exceptional written and oral communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Experience in a risk, compliance or governance role, and/or local government, are an advantage
