As a Food Service Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents by assisting with meal service, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and meal service to residents
• Ensure dining areas are clean, welcoming, and well presented
• Support residents during meal times in a respectful and friendly manner
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
• Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and kitchen duties
• Work collaboratively with kitchen, care, and lifestyle teams

About You

You are a positive and reliable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a genuine passion for aged care.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A friendly and compassionate approach
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Previous hospitality or aged care experience (Highly Regarded)
• Food Safety Certificate (Required)
• Current Police Check (Required)
• Working rights in Australia (Required)
