Their solutions span real-time passenger information, fleet management, and fare collection — helping cities run smarter, more connected networks that put passengers first.

Following a major new contract win to deliver a next-generation account-based ticketing program across NSW public transport, the Australian business is entering a new chapter. This role exists to lead it.

What You'll Be Doing

• Take full P&L ownership of the Australian business, driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and market expansion
• Lead and inspire a growing team of approximately 40 employees, embedding a high-performance, collaborative culture aligned to global values
• Oversee the governance, risk, and delivery of a landmark 13-year public transport infrastructure program
• Build and strengthen relationships with government clients, partners, and key stakeholders at the most senior levels
• Drive business development to secure new opportunities and expand market share across Australia
• Work at the intersection of infrastructure, technology, and government — aligning international standards with local market needs
• Report to global and regional leadership, representing the Australian business within a broader international organisation
• Travel to global HQ in Germany several times per year to align on strategy and embed organisational culture

What You Bring

• Proven track record as a Managing Director, General Manager, or Country Manager with experience scaling teams and leading complex, multidisciplinary operations
• Full P&L ownership experience and strong commercial acumen
• Background in public transport, infrastructure, technology, or large-scale government programs
• Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-year contracts and vendor ecosystems
• Strong ability to build trusted relationships with government clients and senior stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in a global matrixed environment, balancing international direction with local execution
