We are currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our growing transport and logistics team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with clients.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring all enquiries and service requests are handled efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Assisting and liaising with fleet controllers to coordinate both container and LCL (Less than Container Load) movements
  • Liaising with drivers, warehouse staff, and operations teams
  • Providing accurate updates on freight status and delivery times
  • Handling customer queries, issues, and complaints in a timely manner
  • Processing paperwork, data entry, and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction at all times

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service (transport/logistics experience highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and transport/logistics systems (preferred)
  • Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
