Role Description

Reporting to the Board, Interchange is seeking a committed values‑led CEO with a demonstrable leadership track record in disability or a closely related industry. Working with the Board, you will set strategy, ensure safe and quality services, strengthen culture, and drive sustainable growth, including potential mergers and acquisition activity. You will also develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships including work with key stakeholders from participants and their families, employees, the NDIA and other regulators, sector partners and the disability community.

Key Attributes, skills and experience include;

• Senior executive (ideally CEO or GM/ED) experience in disability or similarly regulated human services;
• Exceptional people leadership: culture, engagement, workforce planning, and capability development
• Demonstrated track record leading large, multi‑site operations and workforce (including 24/7 accommodation and complex support services);
• Strong financial, commercial, and risk acumen;
• Proven stakeholder engagement and advocacy skills, including with participants, families, government, and sector peers;
• Commitment to human rights, person‑centred practice, co‑design, and safeguarding;
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field; post graduate or AICD qualifications would also be highly desirable.
