Operating in over 100 countries, they have a significant footprint in Australia and to support the continued demand for their technical expertise in Grid Solutions, they are looking to hire this key role for their Australian technical team.

The Role

As Project Manager - Grid Automation, you will lead and support the growth and delivery of projects across ANZ. With a focus on AC Substations, HVDC & FACTS, the plan is to reduce the reliance on channels and increase direct project interaction with the end user/clients to help drive and support the business long-term. As the PM, you are expected to manage a portfolio of 4 to 6 active projects at any one time.

Responsibilities will include

• Plan, manage and deliver projects contractually ensuring high levels of Customer satisfaction and maximum margin / value.
• Manage project execution from tender to end of warranty and be the prime customer contact
• Ensure commitments to customer are met in accordance with contract with clear feedback through consistent customer interaction
• Execute Projects in collaboration with engineering, logistics, sourcing, procurement and finance functions.
• Monthly update on actions plans, progress & sales / cash forecasts.
• Preparation and presentation of project reviews.
• Maintain comprehensive documents & records of projects executed.
• Manage resource planning and workload of the team

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Prior experience in Grid Automation and Transmission & Distribution industry
• Demonstrated years of experience in turnkey project management within the T&D Industry in Australia
• T&D and Automation (Protection & Controls), Substation (Substation Automation), MV & HV background will give you distinct advantage.
• Capability to resource, manage & motivate a project team.
