Role- Senior Software Test Engineer/ Cloud Automation Testing

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Tester with extensive experience in Cloud Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing methodologies. You will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for cloud based applications.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in software testing.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and cloud automation.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Cloud Automation Testing, including tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on cloud automation.
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
