Deliverables:

• Acts as a trusted interface between the business and the data platform, ensuring stakeholder reporting needs across Finance, HR, Operations and Service Lines are clearly understood, prioritised and delivered as reliable analytical products.
• Translates complex and ambiguous business rules, policies and operational processes into well-defined metric logic, ensuring consistent and agreed definitions are documented and accessible across the organisation.
• Delivers high-quality Power BI dashboards and datasets that are usable, trustworthy and directly aligned to business decision-making needs, with logic pushed upstream into Snowflake to ensure reusability and platform consistency.
• Produces and maintains Gold-layer SQL models and views in Snowflake that are validated, well-structured and ready for production deployment by Data Engineering, reducing rework and accelerating time to insight.
• Maintains a living metric dictionary that documents definitions, business rules, assumptions and known limitations, supporting data governance and organisational confidence in analytical outputs.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience in BI or data analysis, with proven proficiency in designing dashboards and datasets in Power BI.
• Advanced SQL skills for analytical modelling, including expertise in views, CTEs, and dimensional design.
• A solid grasp of star schema design, facts, dimensions, and grain.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses—Snowflake is highly preferred.
