Programmed is seeking FIFO Gatehouse Operators for Australia's largest rail freight operator. This is a hands-on role managing site access, security, and operational oversight, ensuring smooth and safe movement of personnel, vehicles, and freight. Perfect for candidates who are detail-focused, safety-conscious, and love a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

• Control site access and monitor the movement of personnel, vehicles, and freight.
• Check documentation, permits, and identification for compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of all site entries and movements.
• Communicate clearly with staff, operators, and visitors to coordinate site access.
• Ensure a safe and compliant environment, escalating issues as needed.
• Support operations by coordinating logistics and reporting daily activity.
• Administer fatigue risk management and site compliance processes.

Key Requirements

• Current Driver's Licence
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Problem-solving mindset and situational awareness
