About The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic required for a Monday to Friday role completing fleet maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and breakdown response work based in Mackay, QLD.

What You Will Be Doing

• Carrying out general and logbook servicing on heavy vehicles and equipment
• Completing fleet maintenance and scheduled inspections
• Performing diagnostics and fault finding on mechanical systems
• Conducting mechanical repairs and compliance repairs
• Attending mobile breakdown response work as required
• Working independently and collaboratively within the maintenance team
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship

What You Will Need

• Trade Qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or higher)
• Current Manual Drivers Licence
• HR or MC Licence highly desirable
• Experience in heavy industry, mining, or fleet maintenance environments desirable
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Safety-conscious attitude with a reliable and solution-focused approach
