Our client in Dandenong is seeking a Service Coordinator to join their team immediately. Your role is to liaise with customers, coordinate service requests, manage job allocation, and maintain accurate system records. As the first point of contact for service enquiries, you'll play a key role in supporting service teams and ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer liaison - Support customers with enquiries and coordinate service delivery
- Service coordination - Initiate service requests, raise system entries, and manage scheduled and breakdown service.
- Job allocation - Allocate service jobs and support regional service teams
- Administration - Maintain contracts, agreements, reports, and service documentation
- Operational support - Assist managers and supervisors with day‑to‑day service operations
- Customer service - Provide professional phone support and act as first point of contact
- Quality & compliance - Support quality standards and accurate keeping
- Health & safety - Maintain a safe work environment and participate in risk assessments
What You'll Bring
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service‑related systems (e.g., SAP)
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
- A proactive, flexible, "can‑do" approach
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and support team operations
- Customer service or service centre experience (advantageous)
