Join the People & Culture team at National Archives Australia as an Assistant Director HR and help shape the employee experience at one of Australia's most important cultural institutions.

With multiple positions available across various locations, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact on how we support and develop our talented workforce.

The People & Culture Section is responsible for developing and implementing policies and strategies to ensure the National Archives' workforce and workplace has the tools and capabilities to achieve our key roles and responsibilities. The section administers employment arrangements under the National Archives Enterprise Agreement and key services including payroll, recruitment and performance management. The section also oversees work health and safety arrangements, workforce planning and the delivery of professional development opportunities and frameworks.

In this role, you'll work alongside dedicated professionals to deliver comprehensive HR services that enable our teams to preserve and share Australia's documentary heritage. You'll contribute to creating an inclusive workplace where every team member can thrive and contribute their unique skills and perspectives.

Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance to Baseline Level.
