About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our switchboard manufacturing business based in Yatala. Working closely with our Project Managers, you will provide engineering and technical support across multiple projects to ensure delivery is achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across design coordination, manufacturing, project delivery, and stakeholder communication within a fast-paced electrical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and technical support to Project Managers throughout the full project lifecycle
- Coordinate switchboard design, documentation, production, and delivery activities to meet project milestones
- Liaise with internal manufacturing teams, suppliers, contractors, and customers to ensure smooth project execution
About You
- Previous experience in switchboard manufacturing, electrical engineering, or a related project engineering environment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, switchboards, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline preferred
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams
