We are seeking
Personal Care Worker to join our growing HAH services based in Bendigo, on a casual basis.
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the Personal Care Worker will provide personal care requirements to clients in their place of residence in the community and is responsible to the Registered Nurse for standards of practice in relation to the provision of care including all infection control issues.
The Position
- Provide a range of personal care tasks based on assessed needs as determined by the care plan, which enables the recipients to maintain their desired standards of personal care and hygiene.
- Encourage and promote recipients’ independence and coping mechanisms.
- Assist with medications as per scope of practice.
- Applying medical aids.
- Documentation completed and recorded in patient file after each visit.
- Provide feedback to the Registered Nurse if any changes are observed in the client’s mental or physical health, or environment.
- Seek clarification of delegated roles from the Registered Nurse as required.
- Seek guidance from the Registered Nurse whenever unsure of requirements.
Successful applicants will hold a Certificate 3 in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support, current
First Aid Certificate Level 2 and Victoria Drivers license.

- Hourly rate: $36.56 to $37.65 (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% Superannuation
