About The Role
Looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real difference in people’s everyday lives? We’re seeking reliable and caring Environmental Service Workers to support our Crows Nest Aged Care Service, helping to create a clean, safe and welcoming environment where residents feel at home.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Assisting with meal preparation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Serving meals and setting up / cleaning dining areas, trolleys and trays
- Following food safety, infection control, and workplace health and safety guidelines
- Laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linen and resident clothing
- Cleaning and maintaining residential areas to required hygiene standards
About You
You are someone who takes pride in your work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment in an aged care setting.
- Previous experience in cleaning, catering, hospitality or laundry services (aged care experience desirable)
- Good communication skills and a respectful approach with residents and colleagues
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts
- Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
Desirable
- Certificate II in Cookery or similar qualification
