Design Assistant – Bonds Babywear

Help bring Australia’s most loved babywear brand to life.

We’re currently looking for a creative, organised and detail driven Design Assistant to support our Bonds Babywear Design team in delivering new seasonal ranges.

About The Role

Reporting to the Head Designer, you’ll support the end to end product development process across the Bonds Babywear category. From trend research and development packs through to presentations and PLM management, you’ll play a key role in bringing commercially successful ranges to life.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about fashion, product design and babywear who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design team in developing seasonal Babywear ranges aligned to timelines and brand direction
• Prepare development packs, tech sheets and PLM documentation for new product styles
• Conduct trend and competitor research to support seasonal storytelling and product direction
• Assist in preparing presentations, storyboards and sales tools for range reviews
• Maintain accurate product information and ensure all development documentation is completed on time
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, QA and Supply Chain

Skills & Experience

• Degree in Fashion Design or related discipline
• Previous experience in a design or product development environment
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and apparel manufacturing
• Proficiency across Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite

• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
• A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
