Securecorp currently has exciting opportunities available for Security Officers based in Mount Isa. We are seeking professional, customer-focused, and reliable individuals to join our team on a casual basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong security presence while delivering exceptional customer service across a busy and dynamic environment. This position will suit motivated individuals who can work both independently and within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of security and customer service
• Maintain accurate security logs and documentation
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations
• Conduct internal and external patrols of buildings, car parks and surrounding areas
• Provide asset protection and incident response
• Investigate incidents and complete accurate reporting
• Perform Fire Warden duties where required
• Attend to car park-related matters and issues
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence at all times

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Controller component
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Control Room Licence highly regarded
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and professional presentation
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including nights and weekends
• Positive attitude, motivation, and reliability
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Local residency within or near Mount Isa preferred
