Ventia has secured the Victorian Road Maintenance Contracts for the Grampians and Eastern Metropolitan regions. Commencing 1 July 2026, Ventia will deliver comprehensive road maintenance, emergency response and minor capital works, reinforcing its role as a long‑term partner supporting safe and reliable road networks across Victoria.

Ventia’s Transport Infrastructure Solutions business is seeking an experienced

Community / Stakeholder Liaison Officer to join the team.

The Community / Stakeholder Liaison Officer manages communication with local communities and stakeholders regarding maintenance and works activities. The role supports positive engagement, clear communication and minimisation of disruption.

You will act as a key interface between delivery teams and the community.

This is a permanent full-time position and will be based out of our Dandenong office.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholder and community communications related to maintenance and works
  • Respond to enquiries and coordinate notifications
  • Support planning and operational teams with engagement activities
  • Maintain records of interactions and commitments

About You

To be successful in your application, you will have:

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement or communications roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive issues in operational environments
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel
