About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Systems & Billing Support Officer to support our practice management systems and billing operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in healthcare or radiology billing who enjoys troubleshooting issues, improving processes, and ensuring billing accuracy across a fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid position offering flexibility, with permanent full-time or part-time arrangements available for the right candidate.

The candidate will be preferably based in Brisbane or Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support practice management systems to ensure accurate billing and efficient scheduling.
  • Monitor, investigate, and troubleshoot system and billing issues.
  • Support the timely resolution of queries, incidents, and operational concerns.
  • Act as an escalation point for third-party agreements and debtor related matters.
  • Implement billing updates, changes, and process improvements.
  • Perform remedial work to maintain billing accuracy and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support best practice billing outcomes.

Background and experience

  • You are highly organised, solutions-focused, and confident working across systems and billing functions within healthcare.
  • Previous experience with practice management and/or healthcare billing systems.
  • Ideally, a background in radiology or broader healthcare billing.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Confidence managing third-party billing or debtor related queries.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines in a busy environment.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to work.
