About the Role
We are looking for a Paid Digital Manager (Search & Paid Social) to grow our media activity across paid search and paid social ecosystems. You will be responsible for planning, building, optimising and reporting on campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, Pinterest and TikTok, delivering measurable commercial outcomes for our clients in the Luxury Space. Working closely with the broader digital team, you will aid the department lead in translating business objectives into integrated channel strategies and ensure budgets are invested efficiently to drive performance.
Primary clients: Hermès, Paspaley, Luxasia, Armani.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Search
- Build and manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads, including Search, Shopping and Performance Max formats.
- Develop keyword plans that balance reach with intent, using research tools and search query analysis to expand and refine targeting.
- Monitor search campaign performance daily, adjusting bids, budgets and audiences to meet or exceed agreed KPIs.
- Conduct keyword and search theme analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
- Manage campaign budgets and pacing to deliver on spend targets while maximising return on investment.
- Test and iterate on ad copy, landing pages, audience segments and bidding strategies to continuously improve results.
Paid Social
- Plan, build and manage paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Pinterest and TikTok, spanning awareness, consideration and conversion objectives.
- Develop audience strategies using first-party data, platform audiences and lookalikes to reach high-value customer segments.
- Create and test creative briefs and copy for paid social formats, collaborating with creative and content teams to produce platform-native assets.
- Monitor paid social campaign performance daily, optimising for platform-specific KPIs including ROAS, CPM, CTR, engagement rate.
- Manage Meta Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager with a strong understanding of each platform’s auction dynamics and best practices.
- Lead A/B testing across audiences, creatives and placements, drawing clear conclusions and applying learnings to future campaigns.
Cross-Channel & Reporting
- Collaborate with the wider media team to align search and social activity with broader digital and above-the-line campaigns.
- Work in conjunction with clients to develop ad copy and creative direction consistent with brand positioning in the Luxury Space.
- Aid in developing monthly reports that clearly communicate performance, insights and recommended next steps to clients and internal stakeholders across all active channels.
- Stay across platform updates, beta features and industry trends, and proactively recommend new opportunities.
- Support the Department Lead with strategic planning, client presentations and pitch responses as required.
Skills and Experience
Paid Search
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns, ideally within an agency environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) and Google Ads Editor.
- Experience with Microsoft Ads is beneficial but not essential.
- Fluency with Google Analytics (GA4) and competence in Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking setup.
- Google Ads certification is essential, upon commencement of role.
Paid Social
- 1+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns across Meta, with working knowledge of Pinterest and/or TikTok.
- Solid understanding of Meta Business Manager, pixel setup, custom conversions and campaign structures.
- Familiarity with TikTok Ads Manager and Pinterest Ads Manager, including their respective creative and targeting requirements.
- Understanding of creative best practices for each platform, particularly short-form video for TikTok and visual storytelling for Pinterest and Meta.
General
- Proficient with Excel for data analysis, reporting and budget management, and PowerPoint for client-facing reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to draw actionable insights from campaign data across multiple channels simultaneously.
- Clear and confident communicator who can explain performance and strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts at once.
Desirable
- Familiarity with feed management for Shopping campaigns.
- Exposure to digital brand versus performance principles and how paid and organic search work together.
- Experience with Pinterest shopping catalogues and TikTok Shop or product feed integrations.
- Exposure to influencer or creator-led paid amplification on TikTok or Meta.
