My client is a modern chartered accounting firm who are currently seeking an Administrator/Personal Assistant. They have large open plan offices in a central CBD location and are looking to add to their business support/operations team. This new-age accounting firm service a diverse client base of SMEs, large corporates, investments, family groups and exciting start-ups.

This role involves supporting 1 Partner, coordinating the requirements of accounting staff and managing the day to day workflow/operations.

Responsibilities include

  • Manage lodgements for the ATO regarding tax returns, FBTs and BASs
  • Monitor outgoing correspondence to clients ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Assist with WIP and billings of accounting team
  • Manage Partner's calendar
  • Assist with ASIC/corporate secretarial compliance function
  • Support business support team in reviewing workflow and assessing resourcing and capacity requirements
  • Manage firm's database and input of client information
  • Prepare correspondence, client files, documents for meetings
  • Handle client correspondence on behalf of partners
  • Other ad-hoc/general administrative duties

Applicants

  • 2 years’ experience (or more) in admin/client services/PA capacity in an accounting firm
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero/XPM or MYOB/AE would be ideal
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail, reliable and a strong team player
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
