The Role

With an extensive pipeline of upcoming work, we are seeking applications from Graduate Engineers (Civil or Geotechnical) to join our Brisbane-based team. The role offers you the opportunity to grow your career, with a strong technical team around you providing support, mentoring, and frequent technical training sessions. You will be exposed to a variety of challenging, hands-on projects right from the start to help you gain the experience necessary to grow your career.

Reporting directly to the Principal Engineer, the Graduate Engineer will assist with planning and design activities to ensure high-quality outcomes on assigned projects. The Graduate Engineer will also provide technical input to project teams to ensure adherence to technical standards and efficiency, and to deliver projects within time and budget constraints.

If you are interested in developing hands-on experience in any of the following areas, this may be the program for you:

• Mining (tailings and water management, waste, research, and design).
• Water resources (dams, hydrogeology, wastewater treatment).

Our Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering, or an equivalent tertiary qualification.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D design experience.
• Well-developed computer skills, particularly with engineering and office software.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• An analytical, problem-solving mindset.
• A commitment to travel interstate and internationally, as required.
