Senior Project Manager Cyber Security

Contract for 12 months | Brisbane CBD | Hybrid working

We are partnering with a leading Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager Cyber Security. In this role you will manage work related to the Cyber initiatives defined as part of the Cyber Security Risk Management Program.

The Senior Project Manager Cyber Security role will report to the Program Manager Cyber Security who is accountable for the successful delivery of the Cyber Uplift Program. The role will also report to the Project Management Capability Lead.

What we’re looking for?

• At least 10 years’ experience managing the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, primarily Cyber Security projects in large organisations, using both predictive and agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in successfully delivering Identity projects is beneficial.
• Demonstrated delivery experience in the design and implementation of security controls, such as:
• Enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
• Zero Trust o Cyber Risk Governance and Compliance (ISMS) o Cyber Policy and Pattern Development
• Active Directory
• Enterprise Multi Factor Authentication
• Excellent leadership (technical and non-technical), interpersonal and team building skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing risks, opportunities, issues and dependencies.
• Experience managing external delivery partners and vendors.
• Exceptional financial management skills, including cost estimation, budget creation, tracking expenses, and conducting financial analysis.
• Good attention to detail, organisational skills and strong project management discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise problem-solving and optioneering.
• Excellent comprehension, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven stakeholder management expertise and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Personal capacity to apply professional and consistent behaviours when operating under pressured time constraints, and in oppositional or conflict situations.
• A solid understanding of IT to ensure adequate engagement of stakeholders and subject matter experts; and to effectively manage scope, risks, issues and dependencies.
