A well-established and respected Chartered Accounting and Advisory firm based in Adelaide and is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join its growing Business Services team. Known for its supportive culture and long-term client relationships, the firm works across a diverse range of industries including agribusiness, construction, medical and allied health, and SMEs.
In this role, you'll build on your compliance experience while working across a broad mix of clients, including SMEs, trusts, and family groups. You'll develop your technical capability while gaining exposure to real client work in a supportive environment - working closely with experienced managers who are committed to your growth.
The Role
- Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS/IAS, and FBT returns
- Assist with management reporting, cash flow forecasts, and tax planning
- Deal with key tax matters; CGT, FBT, Div7a, PSI, trust distributions
- Work across multiple entities including SMEs, family groups, trusts, and specialist industries
- Support client engagement and develop advisory exposure
- Collaborate with a knowledgeable and friendly team
About You
- Intermediate: Minimum 2–3+ years' experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
- Senior: 4–5+ years' experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
- Progressing toward CA qualification, or already qualified
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
