LAWYER – PARKES and/or FORBES OFFICES
RMB Matthews Williams Lawyers, a substantial regional practice with a strong network of 18 offices (17 in regional NSW and 1 in the ACT), is seeking a full-time Lawyer to join our legal teams based primarily at our Parkes and/or Forbes offices (with some capacity to work from our other Central West offices as needed).
This role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys building client relationships, working autonomously with support, and contributing to the growth of a busy regional practice.
About the Role
· Wills, powers of attorney and enduring guardianship documents.
· Estate planning and asset protection strategies.
· Disputed Wills matters.
· Probate and estate administration.
· Residential conveyancing (sales and purchases).
· Property transactions (transfers, refinancing, subdivisions and related matters).
· Commercial transactions and disputes.
· Criminal law.
You will be supported by experienced senior lawyers and a friendly, collaborative team.
About You
· Have 1 to 5 years post-admission experience, with solid exposure to at least one of the following Wills & Estates, Property Law or Commercial Law.
· Be dynamic, hardworking and easy to get along with.
· Have a flair for business development and client relationship management.
· Demonstrate a common-sense, practical approach to the law.
· Have strong communication and drafting skills.
· Be organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities.
