As Head of Planning and Capital Delivery, you will play a critical enterprise role in shaping how infrastructure supports growth, innovation and student outcomes across the Diocese.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Planning and Infrastructure Officer, you will lead the translation of a 10-Year Infrastructure Strategy into a sequenced, funded and deliverable capital program.

This is not just program delivery - it is about setting direction, lifting capability and embedding governance across a complex, multi-site portfolio.

• Lead enterprise-wide capital planning and delivery across multiple regions and school communities

• Shape infrastructure investment strategy, including growth, redevelopment and optimisation

• Drive Diocesan-wide Master Planning, aligning enrolment growth, demand and long-term development pathways

• Embed program governance, frameworks and reporting to lift consistency and maturity across the portfolio

• Oversee end-to-end capital delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to quality standards

• Partner with senior stakeholders across schools, Church, government and industry

What You Bring

You are a seasoned leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels - equally comfortable shaping long-term direction and driving delivery outcomes.

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale capital works programs in complex, multi-site environments

• Proven capability in program-level planning, prioritisation and delivery

• Strong commercial, financial and contract management expertise

• Experience uplifting capability, systems and governance frameworks

• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

• The ability to navigate complexity, risk and competing priorities with confidence.

• Experience within education, Catholic education or similarly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
