As Finance Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, contributing to strong governance, compliance, and operational excellence across a complex and purpose-driven environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role provides critical financial and administrative support across a broad range of finance functions within DOSCEL. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in accuracy, and values contributing to meaningful work.
Working closely with the Financial Accountant and broader Finance team, you will support day-to-day financial operations, compliance activities, reconciliations, reporting processes, and financial systems administration.
• Supporting accounts receivable and accounts payable processing functions
• Assisting with reconciliations, BAS preparation, FBT support, and financial reporting activities
• Supporting procurement and intra-company transaction processes
• Maintaining financial registers and assisting with fleet management activities
• Assisting with financial systems configuration, maintenance, and user support
• Preparing and collating data for financial and management reporting
• Supporting the ongoing improvement and documentation of finance processes and procedures
• Building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About You
You are a proactive and reliable finance professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities within a collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated experience in financial administration or finance support functions
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience supporting financial compliance and reporting activities
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A collaborative and team-oriented approach
