The Role

This role provides engineering and reliability support to operating sites as part of the broader Operational Excellence team, supporting the safe, reliable and efficient operation of IPF facilities through high quality process engineering, process safety leadership and operational technology support.

  • Providing in-house process engineering and design support to operating sites
  • Acting as subject matter expert on process safety management including ALARP/ALARA, consequence modelling, QRA and PHAs
  • Supporting implementation and assurance of process safety and process technology standards
  • Supporting greenfield and brownfield projects from FEED through to execution
  • Facilitating benchmarking, performance reporting and deployment of operational technologies
  • Coaching, training and developing site engineering capability

What you’ll bring

  • You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
  • Tertiary qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering
  • Experience in petrochemical, oil and gas or chemical manufacturing environments
  • Process Modelling (ASPEN/HYSYSS) and Condition Monitoring (AVEVA PI) experience
  • Experience applying digital process technologies, process modelling and engineering design applications
  • Chartered Engineer Status (Desirable)
