  • 12‑month fixed term role supporting end-to-end statutory reporting
  • Exposure to Group and subsidiary financial statements
  • $130,000 - $145,000 Package (Base + Super)

About The Role

This role sits within the Financial Reporting and Delivery team, supporting Group and subsidiary statutory reporting outcomes. You will contribute to annual financial statements, complex accounting matters, and high‑quality reporting to executives and boards. The role offers meaningful exposure to governance, audit, and senior stakeholder engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and deliver Group and subsidiary annual financial statements in line with AASB, IFRS, and Corporations Act requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Apply strong technical accounting expertise to resolve complex reporting matters and support consistent accounting outcomes.
  • Support the preparation of reporting papers for Executive Leadership, Board Audit Committee, and the Board.
  • Partner with Finance, Risk, Legal, and external auditors to coordinate reviews and maintain strong audit outcomes.
  • Maintain high‑quality workpapers, documentation, and controls in line with internal frameworks and advice protocols.
  • Share knowledge across the team and contribute to continuous improvement in reporting processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • CA or CPA qualification with a degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in financial reporting within a large corporate, financial services organisation, or Big 4 audit environment.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with practical application across statutory and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and external auditors in structured review and governance processes.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and CoPilot to support reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise effectively, and maintain attention to detail during peak reporting periods.
