We are seeking an experienced Senior Work, Health and Safety (WHS) Consultant to join our team. This is a key role providing expert WHS leadership, advisory and support across our organisation, partnering with operational leaders to strengthen our safety culture, reduce risk, and continuously improve our WHS management system.

  • 6 month fixed-term contract role to cover an internal secondment, based at our West Perth office.
  • Working full-time hours, roughly 8:30 - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
  • Flexible working arrangements available, including the occasional opportunity to work from home.

About The Role

Reporting to the acting GM Work, Health and Safety and working closely with our WHS team, your role includes:

  • Lead the implementation, review and continuous improvement of the WHS Management System (WHSMS) across all business areas
  • Drive WHS performance through leadership, coaching and capability uplift at all organisational levels
  • Lead high-risk incident investigations and organisational risk assessments, ensuring practical and sustainable outcomes
  • Act as a trusted WHS subject matter expert, providing strategic advice and building strong stakeholder engagement across sites
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, standards and ISO45001 certification requirements
  • Support emergency management preparedness and provide on-site WHS advisory across metro and regional locations

About You

You are an experienced WHS professional with strong leadership capability and the ability to influence outcomes in complex operational environments.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and demonstrated experience in a senior WHS advisory or consulting role
  • Strong knowledge of WA WHS legislation, compliance frameworks and ISO45001 systems
  • Proven experience leading incident investigations, risk management and WHS initiatives
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical capability with a focus on practical, outcome-driven solutions
  • Current WA driver’s licence and ability to work across multiple sites
