A Legal Assistant position has become available working within a prestigious, highly regarded specialist Law firm based in Sydney CBD. This role will see you working in an interesting and varied role with a focus on Litigation matters. This firm have an impressive reputation and culture, with the opportunity to grow in your career. You will be encouraged to show initiative and utilise your strong organisational skills in this exciting role. This is a hands on role, and is suited to a candidate with minimum 2 years Legal Secretarial experience. Strong communication, attention to detail and organisational skills are required.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Opening matters and creating files
  • Document production and management
  • Creating and editing legal documents
  • Diary management and meeting coordination
  • Preparing briefs and file maintenance
  • Making travel bookings
  • Practice management
  • Managing correspondence and maintaining files
  • High levels of client liaison
  • Database management
  • Assisting with marketing
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, assisting with Office Management tasks
  • And much much more!

Requirements

To meet expectations in this role, you are required to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years Legal Secretarial or professional services administration experience
  • Fast typing speeds and close attention to detail
  • The ability to work full time
  • A keen, motivated approach with strong communication skills
