A fast‑growing energy technology company is expanding its presence across Australia and the broader APAC region and is seeking a Sales Manager to lead commercial growth in large scale battery energy storage.

This organisation delivers advanced battery analytics software, enabling asset owners and operators to improve safety, performance, availability, and lifetime value of large‑scale BESS portfolios. Already trusted by major global energy players, the business is now investing heavily in APAC as a strategic growth market.

This is a senior, hands‑on sales role with ownership of new business development and key accounts across Australia initially, with scope expanding into APAC. You’ll be selling a technically sophisticated, high‑value solution into asset owners, developers, operators, and utilities, supported by solution engineers and global leadership.

You’ll play a key role in shaping local market strategy while working closely with product and technical teams to ensure solutions are aligned to regional needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and build a strong enterprise sales pipeline across utility‑scale BESS
• Manage and grow strategic customer relationships with asset owners, operators, EPCs, and developers
• Deliver consultative, value‑based sales of technical software solutions
• Collaborate with solution engineering and product teams throughout the sales cycle
• Provide market insights to inform product roadmap and regional strategy
• Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings across APAC

About You

• Proven experience in BESS, renewable energy, or grid‑connected infrastructure sales
• Strong background in consultative B2B or enterprise technology sales
• Comfortable engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders
• Commercially astute, self‑driven, and motivated by growth
• Able to work autonomously in a remote‑first environment
• Willing to travel as the region scales
