About The Role

BRG is seeking a Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC) Manager to support the Future Defence Secret Environment Delivery Program within Defence Digital Group. The role will provide FIC coordination across Future DSE, ensuring all FIC elements are identified, planned, integrated and tracked to support successful acquisition, transition and operational readiness.

Position: Fundamental Inputs to Capability Manager

Reference: D-13

Location: Canberra, with travel as required

Clearance: NV1 required, with ability to upgrade to NV2 if required

Other: DSN access required on a regular ongoing basis; ability to access Export Controlled information is mandatory.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide FIC coordination for Future DSE on behalf of Defence Digital Group as the Delivery Group.

Ensure FIC outcomes align with the requirements of respective Capability Managers.

Identify, plan, integrate and track all FIC elements across the program.

Support successful acquisition, transition and achievement of operational readiness.

Identify readiness gaps, risks and dependencies across complex program environments.

Support documentation, stakeholder engagement and capability readiness activities.

Brief and engage with senior stakeholders on FIC and readiness matters as required.

Support activities that may involve international workshops and flexible attendance requirements.

To be Successful

Demonstrated understanding of the Defence FIC framework.

Experience supporting Defence capability acquisition, transition or introduction into service.

Strong coordination, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.

Ability to identify readiness gaps, risks and dependencies across complex programs.

Experience within large Defence ICT or complex system programs is desirable.

Experience across the Defence Capability Management System is desirable.

Familiarity with readiness, assurance or gate review processes is desirable.

Ability to access Export Controlled information and comply with ITAR requirements.
