Senior Electrical Supervisor

Technical officer's Required for Government agency in Rockhampton, this role would suit a Construction Electrical Trade person or Works officer person looking to get off the tools and work in a more technical advisory role.

Duties Include

• Liaising with Government Stakeholders regarding Government buildings, Schools, Hospitals etc
• Assign the correct priority to the breakdown
• Undertaking regular site inspections.
• Provide technical support and supervision to the region for small air-conditioning/refrigeration system installations.Ensuring site meetings are held at regular intervals and conducted in accordance with a standardised procedure.
• Issuing Variation Orders.
• Assessing contractual claims.
• Processing Contractor’s Requests for Information; and
• Ensuring Building Act Compliance inspections are undertaken, and appropriate records kept.

About You

• Trade qualification Electrical
• Intermediate level of MS Excel skills including being able to create spreadsheets to monitor construction tenders
• Experience in tendering and costing for the construction industry
• Demonstrated ability to communicate well with customers and in-house staff both written and verbal
