About The Role
BRG is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) professional to support Future DSE capabilities through planning, coordination, and delivery of sustainment and lifecycle support activities. This role is critical in ensuring logistics, supportability, sustainment, and lifecycle requirements are embedded from capability design through to transition, operations, and long-term sustainment.
This opportunity will suit someone with strong Defence ILS, sustainment, or service transition experience who can operate across complex ICT, capability, or secure environments.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of Integrated Logistics Support strategies aligned to Defence capability lifecycle requirements
- Ensure sustainment considerations are embedded into system design, service design, and delivery activities
- Develop and maintain ILS plans covering availability, reliability, maintainability, and supportability requirements
- Manage ILS activities across introduction into service, transition to operations, sustainment, disposal, and obsolescence planning
- Align ILS planning with Service & Operations product design and operating models
- Support Defence SELP processes, including development and assurance of ILS inputs into transition artefacts such as SDP, SAC, SRR, and SRM
- Work closely with Product Managers, Transition Managers, and Leads to validate sustainment arrangements as part of service acceptance
- Ensure logistics and sustainment readiness prior to BAU handover
- Coordinate with vendors, sustainment partners, and managed service providers to validate support responsibilities
- Ensure contracts, SLAs, OLAs, and support models align with Defence standards and ILS requirements
- Support sustainment governance, performance oversight, and continuous improvement
- Identify and manage sustainment and supportability risks
- Provide ILS reporting, advice, and strategic input to governance forums
- Ensure compliance with Defence policy, standards, and assurance frameworks
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to sustainment and ILS maturity uplift across the program
To be Successful
- Demonstrated experience as an ILS Manager, Sustainment Manager, or similar within complex ICT, Defence, or capability environments
- Proven ability to develop and manage ILS plans across the full capability lifecycle
- Strong understanding of Defence ILS principles, sustainment frameworks, and lifecycle management
- Experience integrating ILS into system design, service design, and transition activities
- Experience supporting Defence SELP and service acceptance activities
- Strong stakeholder engagement across product, transition, operations, and sustainment teams
- Experience in secure, regulated, or government environments
- Experience managing multi-vendor or managed service sustainment arrangements
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery within structured governance frameworks
Desirable
- Qualifications or certifications in logistics, engineering, sustainment, or lifecycle management
- Defence, national security, or classified environment experience
- ITIL service management familiarity
- Experience supporting operational readiness and transition to operations
- Contract development or sustainment performance reporting experience
