• Full-time hours, CBD location, 5 days in the office

The Opportunity

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join a national organisation on a 10 week temporary assignment.

Working closely with the Payroll team and reporting into Finance leadership, this role will support the preparation and processing of a fortnightly payroll across a national workforce as well as assisting with end to end payroll processing when needed.

This role will suit a detail-oriented payroll professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, you must also have previous experience using ADP Payforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of fortnightly payroll
  • Entering new starters and employee changes into ADP Payforce
  • Processing casual timesheets and leave requests
  • Assisting with salary sacrifice and purchased leave calculations
  • Responding to payroll queries from staff nationally
  • Supporting payroll reconciliations and reporting
  • Maintaining electronic payroll records and employee files
  • Assisting with general payroll administration and ad-hoc tasks

About You

  • 2+ years previous payroll administration or payroll officer experience
  • Experience using ADP Payforce is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Confident communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Must be available to commence on 1st of June
