The Opportunity

Troocoo is partnering with a growing construction and maintenance service provider in the mining, oil & gas, and industrial sectors to recruit a Contract Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis.

Location: Teneriffe, QLD

. Please note that my client will be relocating the office to Brisbane CBD in the next few months.

Salary range : $130,000 - $150,000 plus superannuation.

Flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Prepare the submission, review, and approval of progress payment claims from subcontractors, suppliers and the client.
  • Ensure claims are submitted in accordance with contract terms.
  • Oversee the launch of contract kick-offs, setup, development, administration, and modifications throughout a project's lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement standardised claim templates, checklists and automated validation rules.
  • Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of claims, ensuring all supporting documentation is provided.
  • Manage variations by assessing their validity and ensuring that proper contractual procedures are adhered to for changes in scope and value.
  • Own the PO lifecycle for divisional budgets, including forecasting, accruals and month-end reconciliation.
  • Facilitate the resolution of any contractual disputes, including payment issues and claims.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Contract Administration/Management in an infrastructure or construction project environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Legal training or strong knowledge of contract law will be held in high regard.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is undergoing a maturity uplift across its systems and processes.
