Talent Nation

Investment Analyst (Business Intelligence)

Brisbane | Full-time

Talent Nation is partnering with Hand Heart Pocket to appoint an analyst who can turn investment data into decision-ready insights across performance, risk and impact. You’ll work at the centre of the investment function, supporting governance, portfolio monitoring and impact measurement across a sophisticated, purpose-led portfolio.

The opportunity

This is a rare role that combines investment analysis with business intelligence. You’ll help strengthen data foundations, uplift dashboards and reporting, and contribute to board and Investment Committee materials—while gaining exposure to responsible/impact investing and philanthropic partnerships.

What you’ll do

  • Own investment BI, dashboards and data quality for portfolio monitoring
  • Deliver clear performance, risk and impact reporting for senior stakeholders
  • Prepare crisp papers and packs for the Investment Committee and Board
  • Support investment analysis and due diligence on responsible/impact opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally across philanthropy, governance and operations
  • Contribute to projects that modernise the investment platform and reporting approach

What you’ll bring

  • Strong analytical/BI capability and confidence working with investment (or adjacent) data
  • Clear written communication—able to turn complexity into board-ready narratives
  • Structured thinking, attention to detail and a bias to action
  • Stakeholder skills to work across investment, philanthropy and operations
  • Interest in responsible investment, impact investing or philanthropy (highly regarded)

Why join Hand Heart Pocket

  • Purpose-led organisation where investing and impact measurement matter
  • Direct exposure to senior investment leaders, advisors, and board processes
  • Hands-on work improving a modern investment platform and dashboards
  • A role with breadth: portfolio insights, governance support and philanthropic partnerships
