HVAC Service Technician – Commercial (Adelaide)

A well-established building services contractor delivering HVAC service, maintenance, and installation works across a wide range of commercial properties throughout Adelaide. Projects span office buildings, retail, education, and light industrial sites, with a strong mix of reactive service and planned install works.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled preventative, reactive, and planned HVAC maintenance, including breakdown repairs and component replacements
• Conduct daily site inspections, operational rounds, and system performance checks
• Work across a range of mechanical and electrical systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, CRAC units, generators, and switchboards
• Assist in coordinating subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to required standards
• Respond to site incidents as first responder, following escalation procedures and supporting emergency response coordination on site

About You

• Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Restricted Electrical Licence
• Solid hands-on experience in HVAC service and maintenance (commercial exposure preferred)
• Confident working independently across multiple site environments
• Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, safety-first approach
• Comfortable working as part of a team while taking ownership of day-to-day site tasks
