About the Role
A Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Accessibility Practitioner to ensure digital accessibility compliance across enterprise systems. You'll work within agile teams to review, audit, and advocate for accessibility from design through to delivery.
Duties
- Audit websites, apps and documents for WCAG compliance
- Review wireframes and prototypes for accessibility issues
- Assess systems using screen readers and assistive technology
- Manage accessibility work items in Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with agile teams to embed accessible design
Skills & Experience
- Accessibility Practitioner experience at enterprise level
- Hands-on WCAG auditing and conformance evaluation
- Proficiency with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Experience supporting multiple agile delivery teams
- Ability to obtain Australian Government Baseline clearance
