About The Team
Our Procurement & Contracts team partners with departments across the organisation to deliver transparent, compliant, and efficient procurement solutions. By managing contracts and streamlining systems, we enable teams to focus on what they do best, serving our community with confidence and integrity.
About This Opportunity
As a Procurement Business Partner, you will provide expert advice and practical support to ensure best practice in procurement processes and contract management. You will empower staff to make informed purchasing decisions, deliver training, and contribute to continuous improvement across Council operations.
In this role you will
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, from tenders to contract execution
- Monitor supplier performance and support contractor management
- Review and develop policies, processes, and templates for compliance and efficiency
- Build strong internal and external relationships to achieve organisational goals
Your Skills And Experience
- Strong procurement and contract management experience across the full lifecycle
- In-depth knowledge of tendering, sourcing, and supplier performance processes
- Proficiency with procurement and contract management systems and tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound understanding of procurement policies, legislation, and compliance requirements
- Tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, commerce, business, law, or another relevant field
