The Filipino Community Council of Victoria Inc. (FCCVi) is seeking an experienced and values-driven Operations Manager to support the continued growth and operational excellence of one of Australia’s leading Filipino community organisations.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across community services, aged care programs, workforce coordination, compliance, and organisational systems. Experience and competency within the new Support at Home framework will be highly regarded.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC.

Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational efficiency, staff leadership, and compliance across FCCVi’s programs and activities.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and solutions-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced community environment and is committed to culturally responsive service delivery.

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensuring smooth functioning and effective execution of programs and services. Key responsibilities include managing resources, coordinating cross-team activities, monitoring project timelines, and ensuring compliance with organizational objectives and standards. Additionally, the individual will develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, oversee staff performance, and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and oversee daily organisational operations

* Support delivery of aged care and community programs

* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, quality standards, and funding requirements

* Assist with implementation and readiness for Support at Home reforms

* Oversee workforce coordination, rostering systems, and operational processes

* Support HR, staff performance, and team culture initiatives

* Manage risk, incident reporting, and continuous improvement systems

* Develop and refine operational policies and procedures

* Work collaboratively with leadership, stakeholders, and community partners

Selection Criteria

* Demonstrated experience in operations management within community services, aged care, disability, health, or not-for-profit sectors

* Strong understanding of Commonwealth aged care programs and compliance requirements

* Knowledge or experience relating to Support at Home reforms highly desirable

* Excellent organisational, leadership, and people management skills

* Strong written and verbal communication abilities

* Experience managing systems, reporting, and operational workflows

* Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment

* Relevant tertiary qualifications in management, community services, health, business, or related fields preferred
