Compliance, Claims & Escalations Specialist

SOCO Realty

We're building what's next - right now. This role is part of that plan.

This isn't a traditional property management support role. It's a purpose-built specialty designed to lift compliance, claims, escalations, and legal matters completely off the plate of our property managers so they can do what they do best.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Property managers are stretched. Compliance obligations are growing. Disputes are more complex. Insurance claims take time. Court applications require precision. And right now, most agencies ask the property manager to handle all of it in between their normal duties.

We're changing that. This role exists to own the hard stuff proactively so the rest of the team can operate at full capacity.

If you're someone who actually enjoys the complexity of compliance frameworks, who finds satisfaction in resolving a well-managed claim, and who sees court preparation as a skill worth mastering, this was built for you.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Compliance & Training - Maintaining compliance registers, monitoring legislative changes, and delivering internal training to keep the PM team current and protected

Insurance Claims Management - End-to-end handling of property-related insurance claims on behalf of owners

Escalations & Dispute Resolution - Taking ownership of complex tenant or owner disputes that exceed standard PM scope - managing the process, the communication, and the outcome

Court Applications - Preparing, lodging, and representing applications at the Magistrates Court and the Commissioner.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Current registration as a Property Manager

Experience in property management - ideally with exposure to compliance, disputes, or claims

Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and WA tenancy legislation

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

The agencies that are going to lead this industry over the next decade are the ones building specialist capability now, something that is going to be increasingly sought after as compliance obligations grow and agencies are forced to get serious about it.
