An exciting opportunity has become available for a commercially focused Management Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing business experiencing continued growth across Australia.
This role will suit an analytically minded finance professional who enjoys operating close to the business and partnering with operations, supply chain, and distribution teams to drive performance, improve processes, and enhance reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, and inventory controls
- Analysis of freight, warehousing, and distribution costs across the supply chain
- Fixed asset management including capitalisation, depreciation, and asset registers
- Month-end reporting, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Partnering with operations and supply chain teams to improve efficiencies and cost visibility
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations
- Monitoring inventory movements, slow-moving stock, and cost impacts
- Providing commercial insights to support operational decision-making
About You
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification
- 3-4 years of experience within the manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and stock management principles
- Exposure to freight, warehousing, or operational cost analysis highly regarded
