About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role joins our Australian based international finance team and focuses on the financial performance and cost control of CE Group's manufacturing and assembly operations.

Working closely with operations, procurement and project teams, you will provide clear visibility over production costs, inventory movements and manufacturing performance.

This role is about providing commercial insight that helps improve operational efficiency and cost control across our manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to monitor and control production costs
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting and cost analysis for manufacturing activities
  • Maintain accurate inventory valuation including raw materials, work in progress and finished goods
  • Analyse cost drivers including labour, materials and production variances
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations
  • Improve costing models and ERP utilisation including COINS to strengthen financial visibility and control

About You

  • CPA or CA qualified or working towards with a degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
  • Lean Manufacturing will be highly regarded
  • Experience in manufacturing, cost accounting or production environments
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost variance analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills with ERP experience, COINS highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with operational teams
  • Analytical, detail oriented and commercially minded
