The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate, Category Management to join our team. In this role, you will support the delivery of strategic sourcing initiatives across Asset Management, Investments and Funds Management, helping to optimise value, drive efficiencies and strengthen supplier performance.

This position is a 9-month parental leave cover in either our Sydney or Melbourne office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and implementation of category management and sourcing strategies across key spend areas
  • Analyse spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value outcomes
  • Execute sourcing activities for low-risk goods and services, including managing tail spend
  • Partner with stakeholders to build procurement pipelines and deliver business value
  • Manage procurement projects end-to-end, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes
  • Contribute to ESG and Responsible Sourcing initiatives, including Scope 3 emissions, social procurement and modern slavery commitments
  • Build and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Your Point of Difference

You bring experience in procurement or category management, with a strong understanding of sourcing, spend analysis and contract management. You are commercially minded, analytical and confident engaging with stakeholders to influence outcomes.

You have:

  • Experience across end-to-end procurement processes including RFx and contract management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and actions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong accountability
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Procurement or a related discipline (desirable)

Experience in property, asset management, ESG or complex environments is advantageous, as is a passion for negotiation and commercial outcomes.
