We’re looking for a detail driven and creative

Design Assistant to support our Sheridan Design team, helping bring seasonal ranges to life from concept through to production.

About The Role

Reporting to the Head Designer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the end to end product development process. You’ll work across product lifecycle management, trend research and studio coordination- ensuring designs are delivered on time, accurately and in line with brand direction.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in design within a collaborative and fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support product development by building and maintaining spec packs, BOMs and product data
• Manage critical paths and timelines to ensure delivery to seasonal milestones
• Maintain PLM systems, development trackers and visual range boards
• Conduct trend and market research to support seasonal direction
• Assist in creating mood boards, concepts and design presentations
• Coordinate and manage samples, swatches and design collateral
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to support product delivery

About You

• Tertiary qualification in design or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Exposure to product development or design environments
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong interest in textiles or homewares
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
• Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Confident communicator with a solutions focused mindset
